Jean decides there is more to the bungalow than blocks and roofing panels and spends an enjoyable morning with the furnishings advisor, Janette Purcell, from John Lewis. John Lewis very kindly agreed to work with us to create the look and feel that Jean wants to create a 'home' in a modern and contemporary bungalow. Jean was nervously wondering if Janette was going to suggest bold colours and big patterns but thankfully her thoughts and Jean's were very similar. By the end of the meeting the colour schemes (or lack of them!) had more or less been decided and Janette headed off to do some research. The emphasis is to keep the room light and airy but not clinical. Muted natural tones to complement the inside/outside feel which we are hoping to achieve from the large lounge and conservatory window. Watch this space...!
